At Happy Babies, we understand how important it is for parents to have the right support during the early stages of their baby's life, and know that creating a safe place for parents will have such a positive impact on the community. This aspect of our sessions is vital, not only for the parents but also for their babies. Babies learn social interaction directly from watching their parents, so this exposure can help your baby to build social connections with others and learn how to express themselves.
As parents ourselves, we have attended a variety of baby classes and often found ourselves torn between a structured class solely for baby's development, or a more open-ended play session to make new 'mum friends'. This is why we have launched Happy Babies: baby classes that offer both!
Our Sessions
Engaging, Teacher-Led Sensory Play Classes
Sensory Play is a fun and engaging way to promote creativity, sensory exploration, and connections between babies and their parents. Our classes, led by fully qualified teachers, aim to not only further each baby's development but also to enhance parents' knowledge. Having experienced and skilled leaders means that our classes are differentiated and adapted in the moment to fulfil your baby's interests. Our Sensory Play programme offers weekly themed sessions providing babies with a variety of experiences to explore the world around them. Each class takes your baby through a sensory story adventure, creating moments of awe and wonder throughout!
Social Play Zone
Socialising is a crucial part of each baby's overall development, and those who are exposed to these situations at a young age, are more likely to create strong, emotional connections with others. Socialising in the Happy Babies play zone with other babies, parents and caregivers can enable babies to develop a sense of trust and security amongst others, which is vital for their mental and emotional well-being.

Being a new parent can be daunting and isolating. By joining our Happy Babies community, we will ensure a variety of opportunities to network with other parents and caregivers, sharing experiences, hints and tips but also gaining that vital emotional support that is so frequently forgotten about. All of this, and more, is present in all of our sessions alongside refreshments.
BLOCK BOOKING - Jan/Feb
JOIN THE FIRST BLOCK OF 2025! The next block of classes begin on the 7th January for 6 weeks. (Bucklesham classes will be a 5 week block - no class on the 15th Jan) Baby classes are for little ones 0-15 months Toddler classes suit little ones 1-2.5yrs
BLOCK BOOKING - Feb-March
The next block of classes begins on the 24th February This is a 6 week block, with 6 fantastic themes to enjoy. Baby classes are for little ones 0-15 months, Toddler classes suit little ones 1-2.5yrs. A spectacular block full of sensory surprises. Themes include Magic Magicians, Baby Bakers, World Book Day, Mother's Day Spa and much more! Structured sessions, engaging playzones, photo opportunities, keepsakes and refreshments all included in the fantastic price. BOOKINGS OPEN AT 8PM 31ST JANUARY
PAYG sessions may also be available.

The length of each block varies, these work out £8 per session. PAYG tickets are £8.50.
Baby sessions include a slice of cake for all you deservant parents and toddler sessions include a snack for the growing little ones.

Sophie is a passionate and experienced childcare professional and Teacher with a degree in Early Childhood. She has more than 14 years of experience working with children. Sophie is enthusiastic and energetic, with a calm demeanour that puts both children and parents at ease.
